The single piece Thermowell Forged body is specifically developed for Instrumentation companies into manufacturing of Thermowells. This is typically used for all those applications that require special attention due to welding concerns or process problems due to uneven hardness, improper  microstructure, poor  corrosion resistance and cracking of welds.

Single piece forged Thermowell body Forging gives proper grain structure, better strength and stronger reliable products. 

The quality of Thermowells produced from these Forging body is far more superior than the traditional method produced by welding process where the Shaft and the Flange are welded to make a thermowell .

It also eliminates testing the welding seams after machining and therefore no more qualifying welding procedures or welder’s qualification certification is required.

Heat Treatment :-  Solution annealed  at 1060 •C & water quenched .

Micro Structure :- Equiaxed Austenitic Structure free from Carbide Precipitation  on Grain Boundaries. Equiaxed crystals are crystals that have axes of approximately the same length. Crystals of equal axial length have more planes on which to slip and thus have higher strength and ductility.

Hardness :- AS per NACE MRO-175
